Phang Nga Bay is one destination which can’t be missed! Dotted with unique limestone cliffs surrounded by beautiful emerald green waters, it is the perfect destination for cruising and sightseeing however, due to not being crystal clear it is not ideal for snorkeling. It is home to Khao Ping Kan and Koh Tapu, or more famously known as James Bond island and has plenty to do and see. One of our favourite activities is a guided kayaking tour into the lagoon at Hong island. It is also known for its intricate cave systems which our crew will be glad to show you. There is also an abundance of caves spread out around the different islands. The best ones can be found on Panak island. Further up north lies the floating village of Panyee, originally a settlement built by Indonesian fishermen around 200 years ago. It’s the only one of its kind and is a must visit!
Phang Nga Bay’s best advantage is that the islands are spread out over a large area making it easy to find islands with very few tourists, some islands with no people at all even. For those who are looking for more privacy we definitely recommend Phang Nga Bay.
